How to play Color Gates
- Drag a block to slide it. It keeps going until it hits another block, a stone, or the edge of the board — or flick it to send it all the way.
- Find its door. Each colour has its own doors in the frame. A block can only leave through a door of its colour, and only if the door is as wide as the block.
- Clear the board. Get every block out to finish the level. Blocks in the way have to be moved first.
- Stuck? Undo a move, ask for a hint, or restart. Later levels bring bigger boards and stones.
Tips to win
- Read the doors first. Work out which block has to leave last, and keep its way clear.
- Mind the width. A long block needs a long door, lined up with it — slide it into line before you push it out.
- Park blocks out of the way. Corners are good parking spots for a block you don’t need yet.
Questions
Can every Color Gates level be cleared?
Yes. Every level is built so it can always be cleared, and the hint always knows a way out. If you get stuck, undo a few moves or ask for a hint.
Why won’t a block go through a door?
A block only fits through a door of its own colour, and only if the door is at least as wide as the block. Something in its way has to be moved first.
Can I play full screen on my phone?
Yes. On a phone the game opens full screen where the browser allows it, and there is a full-screen button in the top bar. On an iPhone, Safari keeps its bar; adding RoomDrift to your home screen opens it without the browser bar.
